About
Sustainability
In line with the Tobago House of Assembly’s (THA) objective to improve agricultural production, promote agriculture as a viable business, protect the islands natural resources, develop youth and women in the agricultural sector and encourage tourism this project will help in the delivery of such.
We are committed to sustainable farming practices and work to minimize our environmental impact. Our farm is powered by renewable energy, and we use natural fertilizers to nourish our pastures. We also prioritize reducing waste by recycling and reusing materials wherever possible.
At Riversdale Dairy, we believe that great milk comes from happy goats and responsible farming practices.

Our Story
Rethinking Food
The farming and agricultural sector of Tobago is being overlooked and underestimated. There is unlimited opportunity to support livestock and crop production on the island, but focus is being placed on the Northside/Castara area. Agriculture and dairy farming have the ability to propel Tobago forward on a sustainable, successful path to economic expansion, whilst supporting educational and development program and increasing the tourist footprint.
Riversdale Estate contains pasture, tillable and development opportunities that would enable us to create a working goat farm.
This arable land would support other livestock and agricultural crops. A portion of the land would be left untouched and would allow for additional offerings for tours to the tourist market.
